![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Michael started learning the craft of dog showing at the tender age of 8 years old. He had joined the K-9 Pals 4-H group at that time and still currently belongs to this group. Michael has always done well with handling. He has a personality that dogs just seem to love. Michael has handled a multitude of breeds: American Bulldogs, Boxers, Rat Terriers, Boston Terriers, Afghan Hounds, Samoyeds, Bull Terriers, Pointers, Rottweilers, Great Danes and numerous others. Michael enjoys the challenge of handling different breeds. Michael also enjoys training and competing in obedience, agility and weight pull with his dogs. He has won many BIS Jr. awards, MWWP by a Jr. and MWP by a Jr. Michael was #2 Open Senior handler in his region in the UKC for 2004 and #1 Junior weight pull handler in his region in UKC in 2004. Michael was also awarded UKC's first ever Total Junior for 2004. Michael continues to compete in the Juniors competitions as well as breed. Michael also enjoys helping teach other Juniors about handling and often educates the public about showing, handling and working their dogs. He has often helped steward shows, work the weight pull competitions and help in any way or where needed. We are very proud of the many wonderful accomplishments Michael has earned.
![]() ![]() Beth has grown up with dogs and of course, watching her brother at the end of a lead. She was fast to also want to take on that role. She began working to learn the art of training dogs for show very early and picked it up well. Beth too has handled a number of breeds including: American Bulldogs, Boston Terriers, Boxers, Beagles, Toy Fox Terriers and Corgi's. Like her brother, Beth enjoys training and participating in conformation, obedience, agility and weight pulling. Beth was #4 Open Junior in her region in UKC for 2004 and #3 in weight pull in her region. For 2005, Beth was #3 in weight pull and for 2006, Beth became #1 Junior in her region for weight pull! Beth is enjoying competing and learning more all the time. We are very proud of all her accomplishments and look forward to seeing her develop into another excellent handler.
